Director of Systems and Digital Strategy – Becky Baynes

Becky is responsible for leading the Trust’s strategic direction for data, digital systems, and examinations. Her role includes overseeing the development and implementation of new technologies, ensuring robust IT service provision, and shaping the Trust’s long‑term Digital Strategy. Becky manages key IT contracts and provides strategic leadership to ensure systems across RESPECT schools are reliable, high performing, and fit for purpose.

She leads on Trust assessment and reporting, ensuring that data is used effectively to inform teaching, learning and school improvement. Becky also oversees the development of school systems—including MIS platforms, workflows and digital processes—ensuring that they maximise efficiency, strengthen capacity and support high‑quality educational outcomes. She coordinates and quality‑assures training for staff across these areas, enabling colleagues to confidently use systems that improve practice.

Becky oversees exams compliance across the Trust and leads on quality assurance and teacher development relating to data, assessment and systems. She also manages the Trust‑wide timetable development process, ensuring a coherent and efficient model across all schools.

With 25 years of experience working in education, Becky brings extensive expertise in digital innovation, data‑driven improvement, and systems leadership. She is committed to developing efficient, future‑ready digital infrastructures that enhance teaching, learning, and the wider school experience for pupils, families and staff.
