Director of Operations – Helen Buckley
Helen has responsibility for ensuring that the Respect Collaboration of Schools is financially sustainable and that all pupils, staff and visitors are safe in school. As Director of Operations Helen reports to the Executive Director and Governing Board. The Executive, Leadership, Admin and Facilities Teams support Helen in her role.
She is qualified as School Business Manager, Accounting Technician and is an experienced auditor.
Helen has worked in this area of education for over 20 years and has been part of the transformation of the schools from a council service to a school, then to a combined PRU and Special School and eventually to where we are today with a collaboration of three schools. She is excited to be part of the developing educational offer to young people in the Derby and wider area. Helen is proud to have developed, with colleagues, a focussed and effective Operations Team dedicated to ensuring that the school environment is positive and, above all, safe for everyone.
