The Local Governance Committee (LGC) exists to champion the voice of stakeholders and strengthen the connection between our Trust and its communities. By providing support and challenge at a local level, LGCs ensure that policies and practices are effective, inclusive, and responsive to the needs of pupils and families. Through evidence-based oversight, active engagement, and collaborative problem-solving, the LGC works to enhance educational outcomes, uphold safeguarding and SEND responsibilities, and promote Respect’s positive impact across the locality.
Each of our schools has their own Local Agreements that compliment the overarching Trust policies. You will find these on their own websites under their policies tab.
