Introduction

“Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.” —Nelson Mandela

In this world of turbulence and time of economic pressure, creating opportunities for young people to have the broadest experiences to expand their minds is essential. Children are the future, and ‘education is the passport’ to success.

“The whole purpose of education is to turn mirrors into windows.” —Sydney J. Harris

We will continue to provide the very best curriculum experiences, and explore further opportunities to ensure young people can take advantage of, and contribute to, the world ahead of them. It is important that we prepare children for the challenges they will face, ensuring they have the necessary skills and qualities to be successful.

“Education is the passport to the future, for tomorrow belongs to those who prepare for it today.” —Malcolm X

Although curriculum breadth is incredibly important to our success, the pursuit of academic excellence also remains a priority. We understand this is different for individual young people, and it is important to have a personalised approach but one with high aspirations.

“Education’s purpose is to replace an empty mind with an open one.” —Malcolm Forbes

We also know we need to develop our own minds as colleagues, we will use latest research and nationally recognised strategies to support practice across our settings. Sustaining and developing practice is key to consistent delivery across our schools.

Pupils are central to all of our work, we believe in high but realistic expectations. Schools are an important part of life and give children, families and staff a sense of belonging and a community to work with.

School for some, is a place where some experiences have not always been positive, we aim to break down these barriers, to this end our schools are about collaborating, and this guarantees we work to a personalised approach ensuring the best outcome for all involved.

We show empathy to all; staff should be compassionate and consistent in their approach, showing tolerance and respect to all.

We believe that every day is a new day and a fresh start!

Great today. Better tomorrow!

We are committed to the phrase ‘We Never Give Up’. We believe that in all our work students, staff and families deserve every opportunity to succeed.
